how we began
It started with a simple frustration: finding lighting that actually suited a real room was harder than it should be. Shops were full of the same few fittings, and anything with genuine character carried a price to match. We started parkdalehouse to bring together lighting that looks considered, works in ordinary homes, and stays affordable.
how we choose
We are a curated shop, not a manufacturer. Every light in our range is selected from established lighting suppliers and checked against the same questions: does it suit a real room, is the finish honest, and is the price fair for what you get. Clean lines, warm metals, glass and wood. If a piece does not earn its place, we leave it out.

We sell exclusively to customers in the United Kingdom. All prices are shown in GBP and include every applicable duty and tax, so nothing extra is charged on delivery. Delivery within the UK is free and takes 6 to 15 business days from order to doorstep.
